Paola Recreation Commission
The Paola Recreation Commission was created by the citizens of Paola by passing a ballot question in November of 2021. They are a joint commission between the City of Paola and Paola School District.
The PRC Board of Directors is a 5-member volunteer board. Two are appointed by the City of Paola, two are appointed by the Paola School District and 1 serves an at-large member. The primary responsibilities of the PRC Board are to create policies and oversee the finances/budget of the PRC. The PRC Board of Directors meet every month on the 2nd Wednesday at 7pm in the upstairs Conference Room of Paola City Hall. These meetings are subject to the Kansas Open Meetings Act (KOMA) and are open for the public to attend. Meeting Minutes can be found on the USD 368 website.
