Cemetery

Overview

The Cemetery Department, while under the direction of the Parks Department, is responsible for the upkeep of the 22 acre Paola Cemetery. The Sexton is responsible for locating graves, monument marking and meeting with individuals interested in purchasing plots.

Flower Removal 

Memorial Day flowers will be removed the second Monday after Father's Day. The City shall remove, without notice, all artificial flowers and containers that remain over fifteen (15) days and all cut flowers and containers that remain over five (5) days.
